| There are AM! songs that I'll skip over more than others, but I think that even my least favorite AM! song is better than 98% of the shit people are listening to nowadays.

| i've been listening to tegan & sarah for longer than I've listened to AM! and i really have no problem saying that I don't care for this song at all. i went nuts when I heard they were collaborating for New Wave, but was so disappointed when I heard it.
i will, however, probably go apeshit over the video. i might piss my pants in gittiness at the sight of all them playing together. |

| Warren was telling me that in the video they do some random shots of the equipment names, so I'm curious to see the final cut on how they blend that in.
If you remember back in the Warp Tour thread I had mentioned the equipment having funny names ... Magnum PI, Danny Divito, stuff like that because it gave local setup people easy ways to identify items "put Madonna over on this side of the stage..."
Well, the boys noticed at the end of the tour another band had stolen their idea - AND their names!! They saw local crews loading up "Warren Oakes" to one side of the stage, "Jordan" was named on another piece of equipment - all the key AM! people are now labels on the other band's gear.
 That's something to keep a watch for in our travels.

| I will! I'm a local crew in Omaha, Drumma, but unfortunately, they're playing a fairly small venue, so probably won't need more than 2 guys for that show. I was hoping I got to do the load in/out for that show.

That must be fun - getting to meet all the different bands and seeing how they set up things. It's so different now watching other people do the AM! setups. I remember helping carry drums and boxes of wires when they were first starting out.
And after a show there was so much pressure to hurry and drag their stuff off stage and back to the van - so they couldn't just hang out with fans like they wanted to do.
ps: I'm really working on a lawfirm database in the other window right now... not just hanging out on the forum!

It seems like it was Gaslight Anthem, but I'm not certain - so don't quote me on it until we have confirmation.

Haha, I remember seeing a really nice screen shot of one of the equipment names during the video. I forget which name I saw, but Tom said that he hopes "Danny Devito" gets in the video, because that would make John happy.
