saw them last night in brattleboro VT.
such a fun show, except they were minus theyre cello player, so they couldnt play any of the songs in which she sings and there was no banjo.

i'd say all of their stuff. some people aren't nuts about the new album, but "the great depression" is pretty money. so was the 2004 ghost mice split.

that really fucking blows about sherri not being there, though. i hope that doesn't happen to the shows i'm going to, even though i imagine it will be.

i know right. they played oh susquehanna, but the violin-ist sang the female part but didnt know the words. and no "new world order", which is basically my favourite song by them.

oh and the bassist hs now completely given up on the stand-up bass, now plays exclusively on the electric

still a damn good show though

i noticed she doesn't sing much (or at all,actually-- right?) on the new album. i hope she's still with the bad, because i love her.

they basically implied she was only missing for that show, or a couple of shows. they said something like "tonight we're a 5 piece, instead of a six."
definitely didn't get the impression she'd left completely

i also feel like i saw them pulling the cello out of their van, and i even thought i saw her before the show. maybe she was just sick or something? who knows
