| I love Johnny Cash, but I think its so trendy for kids to like him, because hes like the original "punk" or "badass" in modern music.
It seems like every skateboarder Ive ever seen is wearing a shirt that says "CASH" on it. |

| If you get a chance, listen to his cover of The Battle of New Orleans. I think it was originally done by Johnny Horton, and my mother used to sing it around the house all the time when I was little.
It really helped since during a history test at school I figured out that all the answers I needed were in the lyrics of the song:
In eighteen-fourteen we took a little trip Along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip' We took a little bacon and we took a little beans And we caught the bloody British in the town of New Orleans
and so on..... _________________ ... we rock because it's us against them we found our own reasons to sing |

| My mom's always been a huge Cash fan, I didn't really get into his music until I was thirteen or so though, because my brother and all his friends were huge fans. _________________
